What does StoreScout do?
StoreScout analyzes public Shopify product catalog data and turns it into a competitive intelligence PDF report.
What stores does it support?
StoreScout currently supports Shopify stores that expose public product catalog data.
What data is included?
Reports include pricing ranges, discount behavior, product counts, launch trends, inventory signals, positioning, and notable products.
Does StoreScout access private data?
No. StoreScout only uses public Shopify catalog data. It does not access checkout data, traffic data, customer data, or revenue data.
Is this a one-time payment?
Yes. Right now each report is a one-time purchase. No subscription is required.
What happens if a store is not supported?
If StoreScout cannot access the store’s public catalog, the site will tell you before checkout so you don’t pay for an unsupported store.
How long does a report take?
Most reports generate quickly after checkout, depending on the store size and catalog access.
Can I export raw data?
Not yet. StoreScout currently focuses on PDF intelligence reports, but raw CSV or Google Sheets export is being considered for future updates.
